The event was held at the 4-Star Park Plaza London Riverbank, overlooking Westminster. Day one was for business owners and recruitment specialists. The day was divided into two sessions, with the morning seminar focusing on the recruitment pipeline; including creating engaging ad content, headhunting and common recruitment mistakes to avoid.

The aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners had the opportunity to hear from five guest speakers including award-winning business owners and some of the most high profile figures in the UK sales and marketing industry. Each speaker covered a specialist subject. Topics covered include; having a vision, recruiting vs. interviewing, how to reset and produce rapid growth, training, running effective business trips, and how to identify and develop top talent.
Day two was for business owners only. With delegates at a range of levels in the industry, delegates were divided into four groups, based on the size of their business. Blue Branch was in group one, comprising of SME’s with one business location. Attendees were addressed by five different speakers covering: putting systems in place to grow, rebounding from failures, how to increase talent retention, the recruitment pipeline and how to grow a business effectively.
Blue Branch attendees capitalised on being surrounded by like-minded professionals to develop their network and forge new connections. “Having award-winners and top performers in the industry all in the same place offers an incredible networking opportunity, and it was exciting to capitalise on that,” commented Ms. Noumaan.
