On Sunday September 10th, Managing Director at Blue Branch Rania Noumaan was one of five guest speakers at an industry regional conference, held at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton.
The Q3 regional conference was attended by sales and marketing professionals from London, Newcastle, and Glasgow. The event was held at the Hilton Carlton Edinburgh, an iconic building in the city, dating back to the 1900s. The building underwent refurbishment in 2016, bringing the décor back to its best. The hotel has seven meeting and function rooms with panoramic city views. Delegates gathered in the Roseberry room for the 10a.m. start time.
Ms Noumaan received the invitation to speak at the event and was happy to oblige as she looks to add to her speaking engagements. “One of the things I love most about being a business owner is having the ability to share my knowledge and experience with budding entrepreneurs, assisting them on the road to success,” commented Ms Noumaan,
The Blue Branch director was selected to speak on the topic of goal setting, a subject that she is passionate about and strongly advocates. Ms Noumaan addressed delegates, discussing the importance of setting small and big goals, evaluating those goals to track progress, and continuing to set new goals all the time.
Other speakers at the event discussed mastering the basics of sales and marketing, building solid foundations, setting expectations, how to stand out and become a top performer, how to develop good leaders, the importance of business and personal branding, coaching and mentoring.
After the conference ended at 4:30 p.m. attendees had the opportunity to network with guest speakers, and during that time Ms Noumaan received tremendous feedback on her speech and had a number of individuals praising her for the information shared.
“I love speaking engagements and having the opportunity to give back, helping others through the valuable lessons I have learned and sharing my experiences with them. This year I have made it my mission to gain more experience as a keynote speaker and I hope to add more events to my 2017 calendar,” commented Ms Noumaan.
