Blue Branch travel to London for business development meeting

Managing Director at Blue Branch, Rania Noumaan recently travelled to London to attend an industry business development conference, focusing on recruitment, branding, and driving business growth.

Ms Noumaan was accompanied on the trip by one of the firm’s most promising contractors, Caitlin Mallinson, who is at a pivotal stage in her business development and is expected to complete the company’s program by the end of the year.

The event was held at the 5-Star Hilton London Bankside which is ideally situated with connections to airports, the Tube and mainline rail. The meeting facilities have also made the venue the number one location for such industry events, with Ms Noumaan previously attending a number of conferences at the hotel.

Business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the UK were invited to the UK’s capital to attend the event, scheduled with the intention to provide delegates with fresh information to allow them to have a phenomenal last financial quarter. Delegates were greeted with tea, coffee and snacks before the meeting commenced at 10 am in the Bankside Ballroom suite. The itinerary for the meeting included guest speakers, each talking about a specific subject. Topics included; how to attract top talent, personal and company branding, the important role of social media in branding and recruitment, branding top tips and utilising technology for talent acquisition.

Blue Branch contend that a good business is reliant on its ability to attract and retain top talent. According to statistics, the UK unemployment rate has dropped to a 42-year low of 4.4%, making the recruitment of talented individuals the most challenging it has been for years. Blue Branch attributes much of their continued success to their ability to attract and retain top talent, and then nurture those individuals to become top performers within their business.

“A company’s recruitment procedure is one of the most vital processes to get right. A successful business is built on good people,” commented Ms Noumaan.

At Blue Branch they invest a great deal of time into their recruitment process, implementing an extensive three-stage process, allowing them to fully assess applicants and their suitability. “The information and tips we got during the conference were invaluable, and I’m excited to start applying what we learned,” commented Ms Noumaan.

Based in Edinburgh, Blue Branch is an innovative sales and event marketing firm that works with a broad range of clients throughout Scotland. The company helps customers to boost their customer acquisition, retention, and sales through unique event marketing campaigns.
